Terms of use

These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the A-Two website and related enquiry facilities. By using this site or submitting an enquiry, you agree to these terms and to the lawful use of our services.

1. Acceptance of These Terms

This website is operated by Astros Marketing (Pty) Ltd on behalf of A-Two. By browsing the site, completing an enquiry form, requesting a quote, or sending booking instructions, you confirm that you have read and accepted these Terms of Use and any service conditions applying to the relevant job.

If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you should not use the site or rely on the information provided here. We may update these terms from time to time, and the version published on the site will apply from the date of posting.

2. Website Use and Enquiries

The website is intended for people seeking courier services for documents, small parcels, scheduled routes, dedicated runs, internal mail, returns handling, tender submissions, and related logistics work. You must use the site responsibly and only submit accurate, current and complete information.

  • Do not provide false pickup or delivery details.
  • Do not submit prohibited, hazardous, illegal or unsafe items.
  • Do not interfere with the site, its forms, or the booking process.
  • Do not use the site for fraudulent, abusive or unlawful purposes.

We may decline or pause an enquiry if the information is incomplete, the job falls outside our service scope, or the consignment creates a safety, legal or operational concern.

3. Service Scope Across Gauteng, Durban and Cape Town

A-Two provides same-day courier services from our Midrand base across Johannesburg, Sandton, Randburg, Pretoria, the East Rand and other Gauteng routes, with metro runs into Durban and Cape Town where scheduled capacity allows. Time-critical collections are planned around road conditions, security checks, building access requirements and load-shedding related delays at client premises, which can affect handover times.

Our services are suited to documents and small parcels that can be moved efficiently between businesses, offices, depots and branches. For larger freight, specialist handling, regulated goods or deliveries requiring permits, separate arrangements may be needed. Some buildings, estates and municipal sites require proof of access, booking windows or specific delivery instructions, and it is your responsibility to provide these in good time.

4. Bookings, Collections and Delivery Instructions

Collections and deliveries are scheduled on the basis of the information supplied by you. This includes addresses, contact names, reference numbers, access instructions, opening hours and any security procedures. If a collection point is closed, inaccessible or incorrectly described, delays and additional charges may apply.

  • Provide an exact pickup and delivery address, including suburb and floor or unit number where relevant.
  • Ensure someone authorised is available to hand over or receive the item.
  • Pack documents and parcels securely for road transport.
  • Notify us promptly of any change to the booking, route or recipient.

Where a proof report, signature record or status update is requested, we will provide it in the normal course of the assignment, subject to the information available at delivery.

5. Fees, Accounts and Payment Terms

Prices depend on route distance, urgency, waiting time, after-hours work, multiple stops, return loads and any special handling needed. Quoted fees may change if the job details change after booking or if unforeseen conditions affect the route. Account customers may be invoiced on agreed terms, while ad hoc services may require payment before dispatch or on confirmation of the booking.

You are responsible for paying all agreed charges, including reasonable costs caused by failed collection attempts, incorrect instructions, refused deliveries or re-routing requested after dispatch. Any tax or statutory charge will be added where applicable.

6. Liability, Risk and Claims

We take reasonable care with every consignment, but our responsibility is limited to the extent allowed by South African law and by the service conditions agreed for the specific job. You remain responsible for suitable packaging, lawful contents, correct declaration of the item and any special handling requirements. Items of exceptional value, irreplaceable originals, confidential records or sensitive tender documents should be declared clearly before collection.

We are not liable for delays or loss caused by factors beyond our control, including traffic incidents, road closures, security restrictions, severe weather, load-shedding related access issues, power failures at collection or delivery sites, or incorrect information supplied by the sender or recipient. Any claim must be reported without delay and supported by the relevant booking details and proof of value where required.

7. Privacy, Compliance and Contact Through the Enquiry Form

Information submitted through the enquiry form is used to assess, quote for and manage courier work, and to maintain records connected to the service. We may share necessary booking information with staff members responsible for operations, dispatch, compliance, regional coordination and client service, including Zama Ngwenya, Kreeson Appalsamy, Nandi Zulu, Mishka Moodley, Lesedi Mabaso and Willem Botha where relevant to the work being handled.

  • We will use your details only for legitimate service and administrative purposes.
  • We may retain records for accounting, compliance and dispute resolution.
  • You must not submit another person’s details without authority to do so.
  • Any misuse of the form may be investigated and reported where required by law.

By using the enquiry form, you confirm that the information supplied is accurate and that you have authority to request the quoted service on behalf of the relevant person or business.
